Why did the client need our services?
Our customer contacted us because they were concerned about their garage roof in Tooting, which was showing signs of degradation and wear and tear. When asbestos fibres are released into the atmosphere, they can become very dangerous and lead to serious illness.

What work was carried out?
Our asbestos contractors began by preparing the area in 1000-gauge polythene to protect the space from contamination. We then wet down the asbestos cement with damp rags, ensuring reasonable saturation. The bolts were carefully cut, and the cement corrugated sheets were removed completely without breakage.
Sections of the roof were then lowered to the floor and wrapped in 1000-gauge polythene, enclosing tightly with duct tape. Our highly skilled asbestos removal contractors then completed a visual inspection of the local removal area, checking that all asbestos materials had been removed. Paperwork was then provided confirming the cleanliness of the work area after the removal had been carried out.
